严格意义上来说这其实并不是同一首歌，因为《Twinkle, twinkle, little star》这首英国儿歌翻译过来应该是《一闪一闪小星星》比较准确。当时这首英文儿歌传入时，由于种种时代和条件的限制，《Twinkle Twinkle Little Star》的英文歌词被错误翻译为了《一闪一闪亮晶晶》。旧版本的歌词除中心主旨和原文相同外，其余内容与原版英文并无任何关系。这个版本的歌词在上并不被主流文化所认可。
